Development Partner
Move Innovation is first and foremost about people. We are engineers, specialists and enthusiasts who challenge ideas and help them all the way from vision to reality. As a development partner we can bring technology, strategy, prototyping and production together in one team, and adapt the collaboration to the project, the company and the budget.
Development Partner
A development partner that takes responsibility
A good development partner does not just deliver hours and technical skills. It understands what you are trying to create, dares to challenge the choices that do not make sense, and takes responsibility for moving the project forward. That is how we see our role at Move Innovation.

We also say no
You do not need to have it all in place
We work with people from very different starting points. It might be an experienced product team at an international company, a scaleup that needs to professionalise its platform, or two founders with an idea and an early prototype. You do not need to be an electronics engineer yourself, or have a complete requirements specification, to get started. What matters most is that there is a real problem to solve and an ambition to create something that can work in the real world.
The whole journey in one place
As a one-stop development partner we can take responsibility for the whole journey from idea to production. Electronics, embedded software, cloud, apps, mechanics, design, testing, compliance and production are all under one roof. This means we can see the product as a whole and avoid crucial decisions falling between different suppliers.
We step in where the need is
But that does not mean we necessarily have to do it all. Some customers only need electronics. Others lack mechanical design, embedded software or help getting an existing product into production. We can step in exactly where the need is, and work alongside the customer's own team and other partners.
A partner that also dares to say no
We put real weight on the human side of the collaboration. Product development is full of choices and uncertainty, and our job is not always to say yes. Sometimes we create the most value by saying that a feature should wait, that another technology is a better fit, or that a technical risk should be investigated before the rest of the budget is spent. We combine technical expertise with an understanding of the business and of the people who need to succeed with the product.
Hourly billing: simple and transparent
The economics of development can be just as decisive as the technology. That is why we are flexible about how a collaboration can be structured. The classic model is hourly billing, where the customer finances the development and owns the agreed IP rights to the developed result. It makes for a simple and transparent model.
Shared IP and development in the product price
But other models can be relevant too. In some projects we can agree that Move finances part of the development in return for sharing specific IP rights. Development costs can also be built wholly or partly into the subsequent product price, provided a guaranteed production volume is agreed at the same time. That can reduce the investment needed early in the project.
Equity, when we believe in the team
And in special cases we go even further. If we strongly believe in the product, the market and above all the team behind it, a model with equity can be interesting. Move then becomes not just a supplier but a technically competent partner with a direct interest in the company's long-term success. Such models are of course assessed individually, because they require ambitions, risk and potential to match on both sides.
Good ideas deserve to go further
What the models have in common is the wish to take good ideas further. We believe innovation should not only be for companies with large development budgets or founders with the classic technical background. Some of the most interesting products start as an offbeat idea from people who see a problem in a new way.
That is why we try to find a collaboration model where technology, economics and ambition fit together. The goal is not to develop as much as possible. The goal is to get the right product developed, tested, launched and manufactured.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need a finished requirements specification before we contact you?
No. We work with early ideas, prototypes and mature products alike. We can help structure the requirements and define the right way forward.
Does Move have to develop the whole product?
No. We can take responsibility for the whole product or come in as a specialist in, for example, electronics, software, mechanics, testing or production.
Who owns the IP rights?
Under our standard development model, the customer finances the development and the agreed IP rights to the developed result pass to the customer. Other models can be agreed separately.
Can Move help finance the development?
In some projects, yes. This can be done, for example, through shared IP, by building part of the development cost into the subsequent product price against an agreed volume, or through other individually agreed models.
Can Move invest in a startup?
In special cases, equity can be an option if we believe in the team, the product and the business. In that case Move becomes both technical partner and co-owner, with a long-term interest in the company's development.
Do you only work with startups?
No. We work with everything from startups and scaleups to established Danish and international companies. The common denominator is usually a technical product and a need for strong skills to take it further.
Shall we turn your idea into reality?
Technical development takes more than good ideas — it takes the right skills. We have gathered hardware, software and engineering expertise under one roof, so you get from prototype to production quickly and safely.
