At Move Innovation we help companies develop technical products that have to work outside PowerPoint, the lab and the first prototype. We are a Danish engineering house in Søborg, north of Copenhagen, with many years of experience in product development, electronics, mechanics, software and manufacturing. We take products from the first idea to production readiness — and we also help when an existing product needs to be improved, updated or manufactured more efficiently.

Our location is a practical part of how we work. We are close to DTU, the motorway network and the head offices of many Danish companies in northern Copenhagen. That makes it easy to meet, test prototypes, run workshops and make quick decisions together. Product development is often better when you can hold the product in your hand, see the challenge physically and gather the right people around the table without lengthy handovers.
We offer consulting, software, hardware, design, engineering and manufacturing. That means we can help with a well-defined technical challenge and equally take responsibility for the entire journey from idea to finished product. Some customers come to us with an early idea and need sparring, proof of concept and technical direction. Others already have a product but lack embedded software, electronics, cloud, mechanics, testing, documentation or a flexible manufacturing partner.
Skills and facilities gathered in one place
An important part of our strength is that we have the relevant facilities and equipment needed to develop, test and mature technical products quickly. We have an electronics lab with measuring instruments, prototyping and 3D printing capabilities, a workshop, test facilities and access to powerful AI servers for model training and for developing solutions with computer vision, embedded AI and advanced data analysis. That means we can do more than draw and describe the solutions. We can build them, measure them, test them and improve them in practice.
Consulting is often the first place we create value. We help with technical assessment, product strategy, efficient product development, certification readiness and portfolio management. We do not simply say yes to the first solution. We challenge the idea, the technology and the plan, so the product has a stronger chance of being realised properly.
On the software side we develop everything from embedded software close to the hardware to apps, cloud, dashboards, IoT platforms and industrial systems. We build software that can be tested, maintained and developed further over time. When the solution calls for AI, machine learning or computer vision, we can also work with model training, data pipelines and the integration of models into real products.
On the hardware side we develop electronics, PCBs, sensors, interfaces and specialised modules for the specific product. We work with both standard modules and new technology, depending on what makes the most sense for function, cost, risk and time-to-market. Hardware must not only work on the test bench. It has to be manufacturable, testable, documentable and durable in real-world use.
Design and engineering tie function, user experience and manufacturing together. We can help with functional models, 3D design, mechanical parts, enclosures, assembly principles and design for manufacturing. With 3D printing and workshop facilities close to the development team, we can quickly try out form, fit, assembly and user experience before the design is locked.
From development to manufacturing and industrialisation
When the product is ready for the world, our in-house production can take over. Here we manufacture small and medium-sized series and handle variants, documentation, traceability, testing, support, service and RMA. We can also take over the manufacturing of existing products and help with cost optimisation, manufacturing readiness and later upgrades.
